The Gold Fields Gruyere Gold Project is located within the Yamarna greenstone belt, approximately 200 kilometres east of Laverton in Western Australia. We are privileged to work on the lands of the Yilka people and operate in close consultation with their community.

Gruyere Gold Mine holds a significant position within the mining sector, known for its world-class operation, displaying substantial gold reserves and a proven track record of production excellence. The Thiess mining operation at Gruyere delivers load and haul, drill and blast, crushing and screening, as well as LV/HV maintenance.

We are currently seeking experienced mining production operators to join our team and contribute to the ongoing success of our mining operation. Successful applications will have a strong commitment to safety, experience achieving production targets, a reliable work ethic, and the ability to work effectively as part of a high-performing team.

About the Role

As our next Dump Truck Operator at Gruyere Gold Mine, you will join a high-performing Production Mining Team where your skills and experience will contribute to achieving production targets while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality and teamwork.

Essential Experience

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience operating dump trucks in hard rock production mining
  • Proven ability to operate heavy mobile equipment safely, efficiently and productively
  • Previous experience operating large-scale mining haul trucks such as CAT 793, Komatsu 830E or MT4400.

  • Strong commitment to health, safety, and environment
  • Respond to instructions from the Mining Supervisor
  • Maintain high housekeeping standards
  • Ability to follow company policies and procedures
  • Contribute to being a positive team player, supporting your crew throughout the shift and for the continuous growth of our mining operation

Licences & Compliance Requirements:

  • Current Australian Driver's Licence.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and regular drug & alcohol screening
  • National Police Clearance.
  • Online Inductions – Thiess and the client
