The Opportunity

Thiess is seeking experienced and motivated Senior Supervisor Auto Electrical to join our team, at Wahana Coal Mine Project, South Kalimantan

As a Senior Supervisor Auto Electrical, you will:

• Supervise and coordinate auto electrical maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and availability.
• Maintain effective communication between operations and maintenance teams regarding equipment breakdowns and repairs.
• Monitor and validate daily maintenance records, timesheets, plant diaries, and breakdown reports.
• Analyze equipment and component conditions, identify root causes of failures, and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure timely completion, closure, and submission of work orders, inspection reports, and maintenance documentation.
• Plan and coordinate shutdown maintenance activities in collaboration with the Planning Department.
• Investigate and report equipment damage, failures, and incidents, including cases of operator misuse.
• Ensure all electrical systems and equipment comply with company, safety, and operational standards.
• Enforce compliance with company policies, maintenance procedures, and disciplinary requirements.

About you

• Senior High School / Technical School or Technical Engineer
• Familiar with Heavy equipment’s: Dozer (Caterpillar / Komatsu), Excavator (Hitachi/Komatsu/Liebherr), Sandvik Drills, Dump Truck (Caterpillar)
• 10-year experience in mechanical repair and supervision in the mining industry
• Servicing experience on caterpillar, Komatsu and Liebherr, Ingersoll-Rand and Hitachi equipment
