About the Role

Based out of our Mt Thorley Depot, as the new Maintenance Superintendent, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient running of day-to-day maintenance operations, key responsibilities will include:
  • Manage and promote a proactive and engaged safety culture
  • Ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained to deliver for our clients
  • Providing focused and effective leadership to the workforce
  • Working closely with the Branch Manager to effectively control work schedule
  • Oversee Planning and execution of repair schedules
  • Manage and coordinate team’s activities by setting performance objectives and allocating appropriate resources 
  • Ensure comprehensive records are established and maintained to assist decision making  
  • Develop and implement strategies to provide increases in safety and efficiency
  • Drive a high performance culture 

This role follows is a 5/2 Day Shift roster.

About you
To be successful in this role you will require the following experience and qualifications:
  • Trade Certificate and or Engineering Degree or equivalent qualifications
  • A minimum of five plus years’ experience in a similar leadership role 
  • Familiarity with maintenance management systems, JDE experience is advantageous
  • Accounting and budgeting skills, including the ability to monitor costs in line with budget requirements  
  • Experience with maintenance planning, contract management and asset management  
  • Effective communication and people management
  • Experience leading and developing teams and strategy
  • Excellent communication skills
