Systems Connect (an unincorporated Joint Venture between CPB Contractors and UGL Engineering) is delivering the Line-wide Works (LW Works) package of the Sydney Metro City & Southwest (SMCSW) project, which will extend Sydney Metro Northwest to the CBD and beyond to Bankstown. SMCSW is being delivered through a suite of contracts for the tunnels, stations, line-wide infrastructure and systems.

One of the key packages of work includes the fit out of the Sydney Metro City & Southwest tunnels and stations including provision of track, overhead wiring, HV reticulation, tunnel ventilation, fire services tunnel services.

With the project well into the delivery phase, we are seeking an experienced Logistics and Inventory Coordinator to support our Inventory and Logistics team at our warehouse locations at Barangaroo or Marrickville.  

With your experience in manufacturing or logistics, you will collaborate with experienced professionals allowing you to broaden your scope of experience and positively influence the running’s of a major transport project.

The Role

  • Coordinate and manage stock counting and accuracy checks and provide management information on all inventory performance 
  • Performing data entry, troubleshooting and dispatching
  • Liaising with both internal and external stakeholders to receive, process and coordinate stock and supplies including engineers, supervisors and suppliers.
  • Administer JDE inventory control procedures, coordinate the movement of material and stocked product
  • Report daily on key critical areas of the stock system

About You

  • Working experience with inventory and logistics programs; JDE will be highly regarded 
  • Proven experience in inventory management and logistics
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, allowing you to have strong working relationships with site-based contacts and external stakeholders
  • Excellent organisational and analytical skills
  • Customer focused, autonomous and process driven
