    The primary purpose of this position is to provide advice to the Project regarding in-house spatial engineering systems while also maintaining project spatial data using computer software.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Complete complex tasks, including the collection, importation, maintenance and validation/ verification of geospatial data.
    • Prepare GIS products and services that meet client needs in accordance with agreed guidelines and with minimal supervision. 
    • Perform system acceptance testing to support the implementation of GIS software releases, interfaces to the GIS, and supporting business systems.
    • Assist in managing the integrity and security of the geospatial databases to ensure project requirements are met
    • Effectively utilising Geocortex and other existing spatial engineering applications as a project lifecycle tool
    • Assist in the development of adequate training material in the use of spatial tools and systems

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of people and build and enhance key relationships.
