The Project
Two CIMIC Group companies, UGL and CPB Contractors have been selected by Transgrid to deliver the ~140km western section of the HumeLink high voltage electricity transmission project.
HumeLink is a new 500kV transmission project which will connect Wagga Wagga, Maragle and Bannaby in regional NSW that will significantly increase the capacity of the electricity network in Australia’s eastern states. HumeLink is one of Australia’s largest energy infrastructure projects, with about 365kms of proposed new transmission lines and a range of other new and upgraded infrastructure.
The HumeLink West scope of works, worth $1.4bn, includes delivery of new 500kV double circuit transmission lines spanning ~140kms from Wagga Wagga Substation to a new Substation at Gugaa, the Interface Point with HumeLink East near Gundagai and a new substation at Maragle in the Snowy Mountains for future connection to Snowy 2.0.
Your Opportunity
We are currently seeking a driven and committed Project Administrator (Wagga) to join our dynamic team. Your responsibilities in this role will include:
- This role will lead the configuration, implementation, and support of a project related daily-time-and-production capture computer system (Rover) and associated processes onto newly awarded projects. You will also:
- Provide process and technical advice across various projects
- Create and provide supporting documentation for consistent use of processes and systems
- Develop and deliver relevant training to increase system knowledge
Our minimum requirements for this role are:
- Previous experience in a Project Administration capacity - preferably on construction projects
- Previous experience managing Subcontractor accounts (incl. timesheets/dockets, Payment Claims, Payment Schedules and accruals)
- Knowledge of JDE (or similar accounting systems)
- Previous experience using daily-time-and-production capture tools or software
- Ability to write technical support documentation to a high standard
- Ability to provide one-on-one or group training
- Strong technical competence, particularly with Microsoft Office (excel in particular)
- Strong interpersonal skills with a confident and friendly attitude
