Finance Analyst

Myer is looking for a Finance Reporting Analyst who will deliver key financial reporting and analysis to support business decision-making and compliance requirements. This role plays a crucial part in streamlining reporting processes, enhancing data automation, and supporting executive and board-level financial insights.

About the role:

  • Prepare and distribute short form financial reporting on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Deliver Group KPI reporting to support performance tracking and benchmarking.
  • Compile and submit accurate ABS (Australian Bureau of Statistics) reporting as required.
  • Manage and maintain bank reporting and covenant compliance submissions.
  • Provide key support to the CFO by producing and updating the biannual CFO Supporting Pack.
  • Drive automation and efficiency through report building and system enhancements.
  • Support the integration and optimisation of new reporting systems, particularly NSPB.
  • Conduct competitor analysis to support strategic planning and market positioning.
  • Assist with the preparation and analysis required for IR (Investor Relations) board reports.

 

About you:

  • Proven experience in financial analysis and reporting roles
  • Demonstrate strong analytical capability with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to work with new systems and large datasets
  • Advanced Excel and reporting system knowledge (e.g., NetSuite/NSPB beneficial)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience with automation and streamlining reporting processes
