Myer is looking for a Store Communications Officer to be responsible for delivering clear, compliant and affective communications to stores, supporting new concept rollouts and creating tools that enhance that in-store customer experience. This include ticket templates, event guides and fostering strong relationships across internal and external stakeholders.

About the role:

  • Reviews and publishes business communications to stores 
  • Supports the rollout of new concepts through communications and supporting documentation 
  • Devises compliant and comprehensive ticket templates for stores to enhance the customers ease of shop 
  • Establishes event guides and issues to stores to ensure consistency in the customer experience 
  • Establishes meaningful and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive the right outcome for the business 
  • Respond to store queries and create a two-way communication culture with stores 

About you:

  • Leadership experience in a retailer (preferred)  
  • Retail operational experience 
  • Effective prioritisation & organisation skills 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills 
  • Flexibility and adaptability to business change 
  • Perform tasks urgently within tight timescales where required 
  • Knowledge of all Microsoft Office programmes, utilisation of inhouse IT 
  • Advises projects on retail requirements and supports transition of projects to BAU
