About the role
We are looking for a Visual Merchandising Coordinator on a 12 month fixed term contract to produce and deliver all VM communication tools for the Brand in line with our promotional plan & brand vision to maximise sales & deliver elevated customer experience through product presentation, merchandising techniques, displays, windows & POS.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute visual merchandising plans including window displays, product placement, VM briefs and in‑store setups that elevate customer experience and drive sales.
- Plan & produce VM briefs end‑to‑end, aligned with brand direction, promotional calendars and business deadlines, ensuring all communication and documentation is clear, concise.
- Coordinate VM brief shoots and walkthroughs, leading setup, styling and presentations for sign‑off, while managing samples and maintaining the VM mock shop.
- Prepare layouts, artwork and POS materials, supporting brand documentation, campaigns, online content and promotional activity.
- Build strong cross‑functional relationships with product, planning, retail, graphics, marketing, and VM teams to gather information, collaborate effectively and ensure smooth execution of deliverables.
- Provide merchandising recommendations and innovative ideas to improve sales performance, customer connection and operational efficiency.
- Support stores and retail VM teams by managing VM queries, delivering updates, providing feedback and helping develop team capability.
- Plan and coordinate operational VM tasks, including forward planning documents, new store openings, weekly team tasking and ensuring all timelines and business priorities are met.
Skills & Experience
- 2+ years working in VM
- Tertiary qualifications in VM Degree or related discipline
- Working knowledge of Macs. Excel, In Design Photoshop and Illustrator
- Good knowledge of retail industry and relevant KPIs & strong business acumen
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective time management and prioritisation skills
- Ability to easily adapt to changing priorities
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with key functions within the business
