Myer is looking for a Facilities Coordinator to deliver efficient and cost-effective facilities management services across the WA region. This role is responsible for maintaining a safe, compliant and functional environment through proactive contract management and coordination of service providers. With a strong focus on operational excellence, safety and budget alignment, the Facilities Coordinator plays a key role in supporting Myer’s strategic direction by ensuring high standards in compliance, maintenance and service delivery.

About the role:

  • Contract Delivery and Performance Management – Oversee the delivery of contracts as scoped with documented performance reviews for the services delivered including planned and reactive works monitoring
  • Budgeting and Forecasting – Contribute to the development of detailed budgets and support regular forecast review to ensure alignment with regional financial targets. Support the initial review of reactive works invoicing in accordance with Myer rates.
  • Service Performance Monitoring - Implement structured and recurring performance review of services delivered and measure against key imperatives.
  • Safety and Compliance Governance – Ensure all services delivered by contractors meet safety and compliance requirements as demonstrated through accurate reporting and documentation.
  • Reactive Maintenance Coordination – Manage reactive service maintenance requests promptly via the automated services FM Portal, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to operations.
  • Stakeholder Communication and Issue Resolution – Proactively follow up on overdue works and maintain clear, consistent communication with relevant stakeholders regarding progress and resolution timelines.
  • Operational Reporting – Produce recurring reports supporting the Regional Facilities Manager on the status of Planned and Reactive services delivery against contracted KPI’s.
  • Customer Service and Continuous Improvement – Champion a culture of customer service excellence and continuous improvement within the Facilities Team, identifying opportunities to enhance service delivery.

About you:

  • Demonstrates a solid understanding of Facilities Management disciplines and can operate independently with minimal guidance to meet business and customer priorities.
  • Effectively plans and manages routines and non-routine tasks, consistently delivering results within required timeframes.
  • Maintains a strong focus on outcomes, managing expectations and communicating clearly. Proactively escalates and resolves issues to ensure service continuity.
  • Communicates confidently and credibly with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Applies structured, solution oriented thinking to complex challenges.
  • Builds and sustains positive, productive partnerships with key stakeholders. Negotiates and collaborates to achieve mutual beneficial outcomes.
  • Customer centric approach, understanding the customer needs and delivering tailored solutions. Consistently views challenges through the lens of the customer experience.
