• Distribution Centre based in Perth

Myer is looking for a Regional Distribution Centre Manager to lead operations at its Kewdale facility in WA. Aligned with Myer’s Customer First Strategy, this role is responsible for overseeing automated sortation processes that replenish store stock and fulfil online customer orders nationally. Reporting to the General Manager of Supply Chain Operations, the RDC Manager will establish and manage a multi-skilled team, ensuring high levels of customer service and operational excellence. The role is critical in delivering efficient, safe, compliant and cost-effective supply chain activities across multiple channels.

About the role:

• Safety is your #1 priority
• Ensure exceptional delivery of daily operations, driving optimal performance whilst developing continuous improvement opportunities
• Manage financial budgets, ensuring cost-effective operation and productive workflow
• Assist in the management of all site activities including building compliance, loss prevention, security, maintenance scheduling and licencing requirements
• Implement and lead initiatives within the RDC, partnering with support functions throughout Supply Chain and other business units
• Establish and maintain key relationships with Myer stores, support office, contractors, freight forwarders, authorities and third parties
• Accountable for providing agreed levels of service to Myer stores through the efficient and effective management of a broad range of logistics activities

About you:

• Experienced leadership with highly developed people management skills within large operational environments
• Ability to drive high performance through coaching, mentoring and development
• A continuous improvement mindset with a passion to deliver best in class fulfillment.
• Strong operational experience in distribution warehousing, XDock automation, online fulfilment, transport management and retail warehousing
• Deep understanding of slotting, flows, transport and the analytical skills to improve productivity and reduce costs
• Strong experience in labour management and workforce planning
• Exceptionally sharp attention to detail, able to motivate and guide teams while driving performance and accountability
• A natural leader who fosters a high-performing, engaged culture
• Experience with freight forwarder and container management
• Demonstrable success with cost and productivity management and the ability to develop objectives in line with KPI’s, timelines and relevant metrics
