What does the job look like?

The Linfox Consumer and Healthcare Group provide innovative and industry leading warehousing and distribution services for diverse retail and manufacturing businesses across Australia and New Zealand. We are seeking an Operations Manager to oversee warehousing and distribution activity within our site at Willawong. This is an ideal opportunity for a dedicated supply chain professional who shares and can deliver our vision of operational excellence. Key areas:

• Supervise the day to day running of the warehouse operations to deliver the most productive outcomes for our customer 
• Ensure the effective utilisation of all allocated resources on site  
• Analyse KPI Reporting both weekly and monthly to improve productivity in line with financial budgets 
• Proactively engage with external labour agencies to fill any identified labour shortages 
• Facilitate continuous improvement to warehouse operations through developing, reviewing and updating warehouse procedures 
• P&L management 

Are you the one?

This is a pivotal role that requires a strong manager with previous operations management experience. You will be able to shape an inclusive and accountable culture in a fast-paced environment and will have a wealth of experience providing leadership and effective commercial and operational decision making. You can demonstrate:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar role within either a multiuser 3PL environment or major FMCG customer site 
• Leadership excellence and the ability to enhance, develop and motivate great teams 
• Previous P&L management experience with strong understanding of financial drivers and cost control 
• An organised and systematic approach to work with a strong attention to detail 
• Ability to communicate effectively across a range of organizational levels
