What does the job look like?

An exciting opportunity exists for a dedicated and highly efficient Team Leader to join our Bevchain Team in Kemps Creek NSW. The Team Leader will be required to manage and organise our fantastic team, whilst adhering to all safety procedures and processes and meeting our business goals and objectives.  

Reporting to the Supervisor and/or Shift Manager, you will be responsible for motivating and supporting your team of up to 20+ Team members to deliver operational excellence from all areas of warehouse and distribution including safety, receiving, reporting, inventory management and quality control. Hours are Monday to Friday – 5.00AM to 1.30PM with overtime as required on weekends.

Key areas:

  • Participating and committing to Safety Standards and COR requirements.
  • Providing exceptional leadership and direction to staff to ensure business goals and objectives are met.
  • Managing staff issues including absenteeism and performance levels.
  • Controlling staff rosters and workload to meet and exceed customer requirements.
  • Liaising with transport providers and the greater warehouse team to ensure an accurate and efficient inbound process.

  • Intermediate computer skills and understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
