What does the job look like?
As the Team Manager at our Coles RDC in Truganina, you’ll play a critical role in the smooth and safe operation of key warehouse functions — including Receiving, Forklift, Picking, and Loading. This is a fantastic opportunity to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment where your leadership will directly impact our service delivery and operational success. This is a Monday to Friday position with working hours from 6:00am – 2:30pm. Key areas:
- Overseeing the day-to-day warehouse operations with a strong focus on safety, customer satisfaction, and productivity
- Leading, mentoring, and supporting a high-performing team, identifying development opportunities and removing individual barriers to success
- Proactively reporting operational challenges to the Shift Manager and working collaboratively on timely resolutions
- Ensuring safety and compliance standards are upheld while meeting daily operational targets
- Conducting regular performance reporting, operational planning, and workforce execution
- Supervising receipting, picking, and dispatch functions to ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods

- Proven supervisory experience leading teams in a warehouse operations environment
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and engage a diverse team
- Comprehensive distribution knowledge with In-depth understanding of key distribution processes, including stock control, inbound/outbound processing, pick face management, and transport operations
- Analytical mindset with a strong ability to plan resources effectively, analyse KPIs, and identify opportunities for process improvement
- The ability to remain calm and effective under pressure, with a solutions-focused mindset
