What does the role involve?
Join our dynamic Fleet team at the Linfox Erskine Park Service Centre as a Service Advisor. Whether you are an experienced Service Advisor or a qualified Diesel Mechanic, this is your opportunity to make a real impact in a role that keeps our fleet running smoothly and safely.
Reporting to the State Workshop Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the repairs and maintenance of Linfox equipment meet fleet and company policies. Key responsibilities include:

Scheduling fleet maintenance and repairs with external providers and the Linfox workshop

Prioritising repairs based on safety, operational needs and urgency

Raising purchase orders for work undertaken externally

Building and maintaining professional relationships with Linfox operational sites and external service providers

Providing technical advice and ensuring compliance with all requirements, including accurate and complete paperwork
Are you the right fit?
We are seeking someone with strong heavy vehicle/fleet maintenance experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels in customer service. You will demonstrate:

A mechanical trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic (essential)

Previous experience in a similar role, with knowledge of prime movers, trucks, trailers, and LNG equipment maintenance (advantageous)

Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including Excel and Word; SAP experience is highly regarded
-
Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure

The ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and engineering drawings
