What does the job look like?
The Retail team are seeking a driven and detail-oriented National Administration Manager to lead and elevate our administrative operations across the General Merchandise customer network.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager – General Merchandise, this national role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of administrative functions, including customer invoicing, payroll, subcontractor payments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
You’ll lead a team of five direct reports and work closely with internal stakeholders across Operations, Customer Service, Finance, and HR, as well as external partners such as customers, vendors, and labour hire agencies. Key areas:
- Oversee payroll and time & attendance systems (Workforce Dimensions/Kronos).
- Ensure accurate and timely customer invoicing and reconciliation.
- Manage subcontractor payments and accruals.
- Lead and support site administration teams, ensuring coverage and capability.
- Drive continuous improvement and automation in billing and admin processes.
- Maintain and enhance internal systems and procedures.
