What does the job look like?
Step into a dynamic role with our Coles Retail team, where no two days are the same. Based in Truganina, you'll play a key part in coordinating transport operations by allocating, route planning, and dispatching deliveries—ensuring smooth and efficient execution while maintaining our strong focus on safety, service, and operational excellence.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, this position operates on a 4-on, 4-off rotating roster with shifts running from 3:30 PM to 3:30 AM. Key areas:
- Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders, providing clear instructions while fostering positive relationships
- Maintain accurate documentation and records related to run sheets, delivery schedules, and compliance requirements
- Ensure regular communication with customers, keeping them well-informed about their scheduled deliveries or any changes that may impact them
- Participating and committing to Safety Standards and COR requirements at all times
Are you the one?

- Some experience or study in transport planning, fleet coordination, or logistics
- Confidence using computers – if you’ve used Transport Management Systems (TMS), even better
- Good knowledge of Melbourne’s roads and metro areas
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to stay cool under pressure
- Excellent communication skills – you enjoy working with people
