About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our team on a part-time basis for a 12-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you’ll support the financial and administrative management of key contracts and portfolios, working closely with a collaborative team to deliver accurate reporting and insights that drive performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare weekly and monthly management accounts with insightful commentary.
  • Monitor and analyse wage data, identifying variances and trends.
  • Manage fixed asset registers for assigned contracts and portfolios.
  • Assist in the annual budgeting process and forecasting activities.
  • Support ad hoc projects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual and financial obligations.

About You

You’re a motivated and solutions-focused professional who thrives in a dynamic environment. You enjoy translating complex financial data into actionable insights and are confident engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

You will bring:

  • A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
  • CA, CPA, or CFA qualification (or working towards).
  • 1–3 years’ experience in a large firm or industry-based accounting role.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills; SAP or ERP experience highly regarded.
  • A commitment to continuous improvement and team collaboration.
