What does the job look like?

Linfox Intermodal is looking for a passionate and dedicated Operations Supervisor who shares our vision of operational excellence and can ensure we continue to provide our customers confidence and supply chain reliability. This role is a full time permanent opportunity, based in Minchinbury NSW, shift times will be Monday - Friday commencing at 3:00pm - 12:00am. Key areas:

• Promoting a safety-first culture ensuring commitment to safety, chain of responsibility and compliance with licensing protocols
• Ensuring appropriate resourcing including rail containers, sub-contractors, trailers and alike are in place to service the operation
• Provide transport operational oversight, ensuring appropriate operational KPI’s are developed and achieved so that service delivery meets contractual requirements
• Identifying, evaluating and addressing transport risks focused on continuous improvement and innovation
• Manage load planning, load optimisation and delivery using the DFN Transport Management System
• Promote a partnership approach to customer relationships facilitating organic growth 

Are you the one?

This is an opportunity for an established supply chain professional to develop their career in a role that is responsible for transport operations, driver management, road compliance plus operational and customer service performance. 

• 5+ years of operational & leadership experience in a complex logistics environment 
• Prior experience in load optimising, planning and executing shipments in a TMS/ERP system
• Excellent stakeholder engagement with an ability to build strong relationships
• Ability to confidently lead, drive outcomes and develop diverse high-performance teams
• Understanding of financial drivers, cost control and operational budgeting
• Strong work ethic with a passion for transport/logistics and commitment to continuous improvement
