Night Shift Manager

As a Night Shift Manager at Linfox’s Chullora site, you’ll oversee the 9pm to 5am shift, of our chilled warehouse. You will be responsible for leading your team to maintain safety, service and compliance standards while driving operational efficiency. This is an exciting opportunity to make your mark during critical overnight operations in a high-performing distribution centre. Key responsibilities:

• Manage all warehouse operations during the night shift, ensuring safety and productivity targets are met.
• Oversee shift performance, including labour management, cost control, site maintenance, and client billing.
• Lead a team, providing coaching, development, and succession planning.
• Maintain strong communication with internal teams and customer contacts to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Champion compliance with all OH&S, Chain of Responsibility, and training requirements.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities and foster a culture of safety and accountability.

Are you the one?

We are seeking an experienced warehouse leader with a strong sense of ownership and problem-solving ability. You’re calm under pressure, confident in decision-making, and skilled at managing people and processes during critical night operations. You can demonstrate:

• 2+ years of experience in warehouse or transport operations, ideally in a supervisory role.
• Proven success managing shift-based teams and logistics performance.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse systems and transport processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with high computer literacy.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritise, multitask, and lead by example in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience with workplace safety, compliance, and customer service excellence.
