What does the job look like?
As the AM Shift Supervisor, you’ll be at the centre of our operations, managing day-to-day transport movements and making sure everything runs smoothly and safely.
This role operates on a 4 on 4 off roster from 5am to 5pm, 12-hour day shift, allowing you to enjoy a strong work-life balance while developing your leadership skills on the job.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing effective people leadership and mentoring to your team
- Ensuring all operations align with Safety Standards and Chain of Responsibility (COR) requirements
- Planning and managing shift operations, vehicle utilization, and driver schedules
- Establishing strong relationships with our customers and addressing their needs promptly
- Delivering team briefings, training, and ongoing assessments to keep drivers informed and compliant
- Staying on top of vehicle maintenance, compliance, and training requirements
About you
You’re a motivated leader who thinks outside the box and enjoys a challenging, fast-paced environment.
You bring:
- Availability to work a 4 on 4 off, 12-hour day shift (5am–5pm)
- Experience in fleet and driver management, preferably within dangerous goods, bulk liquid, or specialized freight operations
- Strong knowledge of delivery windows, transport allocation, and compliance
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Experience using Transport Management Systems
- Intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook skills
