What does the job look like?
We are seeking a dedicated, hardworking and trustworthy Yard Hand to assist in our automatic truck wash facility as well as the delivery of Linfox equipment to our Vendors and Business units.
You will be a motivated self-starter responsible for cleaning and maintaining our modern fleet of vehicles. We are seeking someone who is not afraid to work unsupervised in a safe and supportive environment.
You will also have the opportunity to assist our qualified trades people and provide general housekeeping assistance for the workshop.
Reporting to the Service Centre Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Participating and committing to Safety Standards and COR requirements always;
- Wash exterior & interior of trucks and trailers with a great attention to detail
- Assist the trades team with general TA and workshop duties
- Maintaining the truck wash schedule
- Keeping wash area clean and tidy
Are you the one?
- Previous experience as a Truck or Vehicle Wash Operator is highly regarded
- Minimum of a HC or MC is required
- Basic machine operator experience
- Vehicle or general cleaning experience
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Strong work ethic and be reliable
