What does the job look like?

As a Warehouse Solutions Test Manager you’ll lead the testing and quality assurance of mission-critical warehouse applications that power our logistics operations across Australia and New Zealand. From SAP WM and EWM to Paperless WMS and warehouse automation systems, this is a high-impact role where you’ll drive quality across a complex technology landscape.

Reporting to the Group Manager – Warehouse Solutions and leading a team of six (including four direct reports), you’ll manage end-to-end testing strategy and execution for Linfox’s warehouse systems portfolio. You’ll oversee performance, process improvement, resource planning, and automation to ensure our solutions are robust, scalable, and cost-effective.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead a high-performing test team across onshore and offshore environments.
  • Drive testing strategy, planning, execution, and quality governance across all warehouse systems.
  • Introduce and scale automated testing solutions to reduce cost and improve coverage.
  • Ensure project and team resourcing is aligned with delivery priorities and budget.
  • Develop standard operating procedures and use of testing tools across the team.
  • Own financial control, including budgeting, cost recovery, and vendor management.
  • Provide coaching and development for testing leads and specialists.
  • Produce regular reports for leadership on testing metrics, quality insights, and delivery risk.

Are you the one?

We’re looking for a hands-on leader with a strong background in system testing within enterprise environments—preferably with experience in warehouse management systems and the supply chain domain.

You’ll bring:

  • 5–10 years’ experience in enterprise system testing and leadership.
  • 3+ years’ experience in supply chain or 3PL environments.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP environments and system lifecycle best practices.
  • Experience driving automation strategies and implementing testing tools.
  • A track record of building high-performing teams and managing budgets.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or related field.
  • ITIL certification and prior experience in complex delivery organisations (advantageous).
