What does the job look like?

The Retail General Merchandise team are seeking a Senior Administration Officer to join their team. You’ll be responsible for managing critical administrative functions including end-of-week processes, Kronos time in attendance, driver pay, and reporting to senior management. You’ll also support ad-hoc projects related to freight, shuttles, and hourly charges, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of our team.

  • Coordinate and execute daily and weekly administrative tasks
  • Manage Kronos and other timekeeping systems
  • Oversee driver pay processes and ensure accuracy
  • Prepare reports and data analysis for senior stakeholders
  • Maintain records, databases, and filing systems
  • Support financial administration including invoices and petty cash
  • Train and upskill team members on administrative systems
  • Provide backup support in the absence of the Admin Manager

  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Experience with Kronos or similar time in attendance systems
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • A knack for solving problems and improving processes
  • High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Knowledge of transport operations and regulations is a plus
