What does the job look like?

As a Senior Integration Specialist at Linfox, you’ll provide integration services for projects, application teams, and customers. You’ll be responsible for requirement gathering, design and development of new interfaces, and operational support across Business to Business (B2B), Application to Application (A2A), and Application to Consumer (A2C) scenarios. You’ll play a key role in leading integration projects, mentoring team members, and promoting core integration strategy and architecture across the organisation.

You’ll work closely with IT teams, operational managers, project managers, and external technology experts to deliver robust integration solutions that support Linfox’s business objectives. This role is on site at our Essendon Fields HQ.

Other duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for integration design and development.
  • Provide operational support for production incidents and problems, including after-hours rostered coverage.
  • Take the integration lead on projects and manage development activities with offshore resources.
  • Gather requirements for integration solutions and provide effort estimates and solution designs.
  • Perform quality assurance reviews for build activities.
  • Mentor other team members and actively participate in information sharing within IT.
  • Ensure all integration design and development adheres to Linfox CI/CD DEVOPS process.
  • Ensure all integration applications comply with Linfox’s IT standards and processes.

Are you the one?

We’re looking for an experienced integration specialist with strong technical capability and a collaborative mindset. You’ll bring a proactive approach, deep expertise in webMethods, and a commitment to delivering high-quality integration solutions.

The ideal candidate can demonstrate:

  • Degree in Computing/Information Systems or equivalent experience.
  • Certified in IBM webMethods.
  • 5+ years’ experience with webMethods (ESB, UM, TN, API Gateway, BPM).
  • Skilled in integration platform administration and design.
  • Strong production support and cloud computing experience.
  • Proficient with DevOps CI/CD, B2B integration (AS2, SFTP, REST, SOAP), and file formats (XML, JSON, EDIFACT).
  • Experience with Java, XSLT, graphical mapping, and integration tools (Eclipse, SOAP UI, Postman).
  • Knowledge of integration security principles.
