What does the job look like?

BevChain is seeking a dynamic and experienced National Compliance Manager to lead our compliance strategy across Australia. Reporting directly to the BevChain President, this high-impact role is key to ensuring our operations consistently uphold the highest standards in safety, regulatory compliance, and customer requirements. You’ll play a vital role in supporting our teams to deliver reliable, safe, and compliant supply chain solutions every day.

This is a hands-on leadership position, working closely with site teams, operational leaders, contractors, and senior stakeholders. You'll drive continuous improvement, coach teams on compliance best practices, and champion a strong compliance culture nationwide — all while contributing to leadership and strategic execution at the highest level. Key areas: 

  • Oversee compliance with NHVAS, BFM, and Standard Hours across all sites by monitoring logbooks, identifying breaches, and raising non-conformances
  • Support sites in developing and maintaining training plans and record keeping to ensure alignment with Linfox compliance and competency requirements
  • Collaborate with internal departments to maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance programs, including preparing quarterly compliance statements and audit documentation
  • Drive continuous improvement and compliance by leading internal and external customer audit requirements including the closure of corrective actions and gap analysis
  • Act as the primary liaison with local, federal, and regulatory authorities, ensuring timely communication and alignment with compliance standards
  • Support contractor compliance through the delivery of training aligned to Linfox standards and assist in meeting HACCP requirements where applicable
  • Partner with operational teams to embed compliance awareness, ensure adherence to policies and procedures, maintain equipment permit accuracy, and manage quality assurance programs including HACCP and Woolworths COR audits

Are you the one? You’ll lead the national compliance function, supporting sites across Australia to meet and exceed legal, regulatory and customer expectations. You’ll bring:

  • Experience  in a similar compliance-focused role within the transport or logistics industry
  • Strong computer literacy with the ability to manage compliance and reporting systems effectively
  • Proven ability to lead internal and ComCare incident investigations, implement corrective actions, and influence outcomes
  • Proven leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire teams, coach others, and influence stakeholders at all levels while driving a strong compliance – development training programs to support better compliance outcomes for the business.
  • Strong problem-solving and planning capability, with a focus on innovation, continuous improvement, customer service, and delivering consistent, high-quality outcomes — including the development of training programs to support better compliance outcomes for the business
  • In-depth knowledge of Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL), Chain of Responsibility (CoR), NHVAS (Mass & Maintenance Management), and high productivity vehicle networks.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, with practical experience driving a strong compliance culture across national operations
