What does the job look like?
Join our West Melbourne Workshop as a permanent, full-time Welder on the afternoon shift and play a vital role in the safety and upkeep of our fleet. This is a unique opportunity to apply your technical skills, enjoy work/life balance and become part of an experienced team.
Key responsibilities:

Perform container and structural repairs to Linfox equipment

Conduct welding and fabrication tasks as required

Report damage and safety issues to maintain operational standards

Uphold Linfox’s commitment to safety, including Chain of Responsibility (COR) requirements

Complete all allocated tasks within set timeframes

Maintain high standards of equipment presentation
Are you the one?
We are seeking a qualified welder who is safety-conscious and detail-oriented, ready to join a strong, collaborative team. You can demonstrate:

Recognised trade qualification and experience as a Welder

A strong commitment to workplace safety standards

The ability to organise tasks and manage time effectively

Excellent attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship

Ability to meet Linfox’s pre-employment requirements, including a medical and police check
-
A forklift licence (desirable, but not essential)
