What does the job look like?
The Shift Manager is responsible for managing performance of multiple teams, in order to meet safety and performance objectives, while ensuring a high level of service to our customer.
Shift Details:
- Monday to Friday plus Saturday on a rotational basis
- 6:00 am – 2:30 pm with reasonable overtime as required
Key areas:
- Accountable for demonstrating safety leadership, engaging with team members and ensure compliance with Linfox policies and procedures
- Proactively engage with Continuous Improvement activities
- Produce shift reports with recommended corrective actions
- Manage productivity and performance of team members and managers
- Effective utilisation of warehouse resources while meeting and exceeding customer service benchmarks
- Ensure warehouse resources are in line with site budgets

You can demonstrate:
- Safety leadership skills
- Oversee and support the day to day management of the AM Shift to ensure customer service requirements are met
- Ability to manage the performance of multiple teams, to achieve high levels of performance, with strong people skills, including the ability to provide positive and constructive performance feedback
- Ability to coach and mentor managers to achieve high levels of performance
- Ability to meet customer service deadlines under pressure
