What does the job look like?

Jon Linfox as an Operations Coordinator and play a vital role in supporting safe, efficient site operations and outstanding customer service. You'll handle administration tasks including invoices, payroll, and reporting, resolve customer and carrier queries, maintain compliance and coordinate fleet scheduling and maintenance. This role is a 12 month Max Term contract and is based at our Richlands site. Key Responsibilities:

  • Own day‑to‑day operations admin: invoices, weekly accruals/payroll inputs and on‑time customer billing.
  • Process PODs daily and resolve delivery queries from customers, carriers and partners with a service mindset.
  • Coordinate fleet scheduling and book scheduled maintenance for vehicles, plant and equipment.
  • Maintain the site training matrix in the Learning Portal; escalate non‑compliance as needed.
  • Support safety by following Linfox policies and procedures and actively raising observations.  
  • Act as 2IC for the Operations Supervisor during leave/absence.

If you have high level of customer service, intense organisational skills and are driven to work as part of a trustworthy, reliable team then we need you!  You can demonstrate:

  • Proven experience in a similar role with in the warehousing and logistics sector
  • Strong MS Office skills; SAP knowledge advantageous.
  • Confident communicator who is organised, detail‑driven and can make sound decisions under time pressure.
  • Customer‑first mindset with great relationship‑building skills and a commitment to the Linfox values.
