What does the job look like?
Based at our Perth Workshop and operating Monday to Friday, this role plays a key part in supporting the Western Australian Service Centre team. You’ll be responsible for ensuring smooth and compliant workshop operations, with a strong focus on coordinating vehicle inspections and maintenance activities to meet regulatory standards.
This role involves close collaboration with the Department of Transport, our workshop technicians, and operations teams to ensure all vehicles are roadworthy and compliant. You’ll also provide essential administrative support and contribute to maintaining our high standards of professionalism and service excellence.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating vehicle compliance inspections and ensuring timely completion of required repairs.
- Liaising with the Department of Transport and internal teams to schedule inspections and maintain accurate documentation.
- Performing general administrative duties including record-keeping, email correspondence, and database management.
- Delivering excellent customer service and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Supporting the operations team with compliance and maintenance-related administrative tasks.
- Assisting with other duties as required to support daily workshop operations.
Are You the One?
We’re looking for someone with solid administrative experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a sharp eye for detail. The ideal candidate will bring:
- Proven administrative skills, ideally with experience in compliance or working with regulatory bodies.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively across teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other systems (SAP experience is a plus).
- Excellent time management and organisational abilities.
- Knowledge or experience in the transport or logistics industry is highly regarded.
