What does the job look like?

Step into the Asset Manager role supporting Woolworths Online at Linfox and take your career to the next level. In this role, you will report to the Resource & Planning Manager and play a key part in keeping our fleet performing at its best. You’ll help ensure our assets are always where they need to be, when they need to be there, and your expertise will directly shape the future of our online delivery operations. We welcome applications from candidates based in NSW, VIC, or QLD. Key areas:

  • Oversee fleet maintenance schedules and manage the full equipment lifecycle
  • Assess asset utilisation data to identify and implement improvement opportunities
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and maintenance contractors
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and execute strategies for asset procurement and disposal
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on asset performance and budget forecasts
  • Travel across multiple states as required to support operations

Are you the one?

We’re seeking a proactive professional who brings practical fleet knowledge and a solutions-focused mindset. You can demonstrate:

  • Sound knowledge of truck fleet operations and maintenance
  • Experience in fleet management or asset maintenance within logistics or transport
  • Proficiency with Google Sheets or similar data management tools
  • Ability to communicate effectively, influence others, and drive positive outcomes
  • Understanding of Australian transport regulations and compliance standards
  • Flexibility to travel interstate as required
