End User Compute Specialist

As the End User Compute Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in supporting and maintaining Linfox’s internal users and IT infrastructure. You’ll provide hands-on support for applications, networks, operating systems, and hardware, responding to a variety of technical issues and requests. Your work will ensure optimal system performance and superior customer satisfaction across the business.

This role is onsite based out of our HQ in Essendon Fields (VIC)

Other duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Delivering timely and effective repairs, as well as training end-users for optimal system use
  • Managing and supporting end-users, service technicians, and technical professionals
  • Handling Service Desk Level 2 incident resolutions and escalations
  • Managing 3rd party service providers for break-fix support
  • Maintaining inventory control of IT equipment and systems
  • Participating in project work and providing VIP end-user support
  • Occasional travel to sites and interstate, with some after-hours work as required

You’re a resourceful IT professional with a passion for customer service and technical excellence. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, communicate clearly, and enjoy solving complex problems.

The ideal candidate can demonstrate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technology or similar qualification
  • 2–6 years’ experience in Service Desk and end-user support
  • 1–2 years’ end user compute support experience
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft systems (Windows 10/11, M365), Active Directory/Entra, Intune
  • Excellent communication, people management, and relationship skills
  • Experience managing 3rd party service providers and large-scale user issues
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
