What does the job look like?

Linfox’s Intermodal team are looking for a motivated Transport Administrator to join our team based in Tullamarine, VIC. This role is ideal for someone who is keen to start or grow their career in the Transport/Logistics industry, even if you don’t yet have direct industry experience.

You’ll play an important support role within our operations team, helping to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. If you enjoy working with data, supporting customers, and being part of a collaborative team, this could be a great opportunity for you. Key areas: 

  • Assisting with customer invoicing queries and helping resolve basic issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Processing bookings, shipments, and revenue transactions accurately, including invoices and pricing checks
  • Completing general administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and basic reporting
  • Working closely with internal teams to ensure information is accurate and issues are followed up efficiently
  • Building positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Supporting and promoting a safe workplace by following safety procedures and participating in safety initiatives

  • A genuine interest in administration support functions within the Transport/Logistics industry 
  • Prior experience in a administration, customer service and/or accounts-related role 
  • Exposure to processing financial related administration such as invoicing, pricing and revenue related data 
  • Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn new systems and processes
  • A curious attitude, strong work ethic, and a team-focused mindset
  • Confidence using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and with ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and tools
