Senior Project Accountant | Group Finance

We’re seeking an experienced and driven Senior Project Accountant to join our Group Finance team and play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of our enterprise‑wide SAP S/4HANA transformation program. The Senior Project Accountant is a key member of the S/4HANA program, responsible for ensuring financial data, master data, processes and controls are accurately designed, tested and migrated. This role acts as the critical link between Finance SMEs, Shared Services, Data Migration, Testing, Audit, and system integrator partners.

You will drive data cleansing and mock load reconciliations, support cutover planning, and ensure governance standards and audit requirements are met. Your work will directly influence a smooth, compliant and controlled system go‑live.

Key responsibilities:

• Support Finance testing cycles across SIT, UAT, regression and cutover, ensuring robust evidence, controls traceability and audit readiness.
• Drive data cleansing activities, coordinate Shared Services data quality efforts and support mock load reconciliations (GL, subledgers, assets, WBS, open items).
• Support cutover activities including mapping validation, opening balance accuracy and post‑go‑live hypercare rectifications.
• Contribute to future‑state process design, SOPs, user guides and training to ensure change readiness across Finance and Shared Services.
• Identify and mitigate Finance risks, ensuring alignment with accounting standards, tax obligations and control/audit requirements.

Are you the one?

We’re looking for someone who brings:

• CA/CPA (or equivalent) highly regarded; relevant tertiary degree required.
• Strong experience in Finance roles within large‑scale ERP/SAP transformation projects.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA or ECC across FI/CO, AA, PS/WBS.
• Demonstrated leadership in UAT/SIT, defect management and data migration cycles.
• Exceptional reconciliation skills and a controls‑focused mindset.
• Strong communication, stakeholder influence and analytical problem‑solving ability.
• High integrity and ability to manage confidential financial data.
