What does the job look like?

We’re seeking a Senior Functional Specialist to take functional ownership of our DFN platform components, Blue Yonder TMS, Billing Manager, and Transport Modelling. You’ll translate operational needs into robust designs and configurations, govern billing rules and modelling scenarios, and ensure end‑to‑end solution readiness across integrations, testing and release management.

Other duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Lead functional design of TMS workflows, Billing Manager rule sets, and modelling scenarios; maintain traceability to business benefits and compliance.
• Define and document system‑to‑system integrations and end‑to‑end solutions aligned to enterprise architecture and standards.
• Curate and version the billing rule catalogue (by customer, lane, equipment, surcharge, accessorial), including exception handling and finance alignment.
• Produce data mappings, transformations and validation rules; author API contracts and schemas (OpenAPI/Swagger)
• Build/validate “what‑if” modelling scenarios for cost/service trade‑offs and document rollout plans.
• Develop test strategies, scenario suites and scripted collections (Postman); support cutover and release readiness.
• Partner with operations, finance, product and customer stakeholders; support DFN Support with complex incidents.

Are you the one?

You’re a hands‑on functional expert who can connect business processes with pragmatic, production‑ready solutions. You’ll bring:

• Experience across Blue Yonder TMS, Billing Manager, CSE/Third‑Party Billing, and WMS.
• Strong integration background (middleware, GS1 canonical standards) and API testing with Postman.
• Fluency with JSON/XML/YAML and schema definition; familiarity with Python/Java/PL/SQL.
• Working knowledge of Figma for UX flows; and delivery disciplines (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, TDD).
• High documentation standards, stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation capability.
• Degree in IT/Computer Science/Supply Chain (or equivalent); Blue Yonder certifications highly regarded.
