Agency Labour Coordinator

If you’re a Talent Partner or HR professional who loves solving complex workforce needs and building trusted partnerships across operational sites and Agency labour providers, this role is for you.

This is a 6-month contract role.

 

Other duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Own the agency casual workforce journey process
  • Be a key compliance champion — ensure employment practices, diversity and inclusion, and safety notifications meet our standards and reach the right agency contacts, every time.
  • Partner across the business — work closely with hiring managers, HR and Workplace Relations, and our preferred agency panel to keep operations moving smoothly.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement — shadow and support the Agency Labour Vendor Manager to streamline processes, fix pain points at sites, and lift vendor performance.

What you’ll do

  • Advise sites on how to build proactive talent pipelines and forward planning ahead of peak periods.
  • Ensure agencies receive accurate job order requirements; support selection methods aligned to role needs.
  • Oversee onboarding items for agency employees and support audits.
  • Track recruitment metrics; produce quarterly business unit packs and insights to improve outcomes.
  • Attend monthly/quarterly vendor reviews; provide safety and compliance reporting to vendors.
  • Manage Agency Labour inbox and daily queries

What you’ll bring:

  • Secondary education (completed); Bachelor’s in HR or related field desirable.
  • Recruitment experience (high‑volume/complex environments advantageous); logistics exposure highly beneficial.
  • Comfort interpreting enterprise agreements/awards; strong data management and reporting capability.
  • Stakeholder savvy, service mindset, and the ability to navigate tight timelines and scarce talent pools.
  • Working knowledge of ATS/HRIS tools; up‑to‑date understanding of employment law, EEO and inclusive hiring.
