WS Functional Analyst

As a WS Functional Analyst, you will play a key role in delivering and supporting Linfox’s Warehouse Management Solutions (WMS). You will work closely with operational teams, IT stakeholders, and external partners to implement new capabilities, support existing solutions, and ensure systems meet business, regulatory, and quality requirements.

This role is focused on bridging warehouse operations and technology, supporting solution design, deployment, testing, and post‑go‑live activities across a range of customer environments.

This role is onsite based out of our HQ in Essendon Fields (VIC)

Other duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Supporting the development, build, testing, deployment, and support of Warehouse Management capabilities
  • Working with business operations and IT teams to deliver effective WMS solutions
  • Assisting with system rollouts, upgrades, and fresh implementations for customers
  • Supporting post‑go‑live activities and early life support
  • Creating, analysing, and managing release components and deployments
  • Documenting activities, test results, and functional configurations accurately
  • Acting as a functional resource across product build, deployment, installation, and support
  • Ensuring solutions remain validated and compliant with regulatory requirements (e.g. TGA)
  • Collaborating with testers, operations teams, solution leads, and project managers
  • Supporting continuous improvement across WMS processes and solutions
  • Adhering to the Linfox Way, Code of Conduct, and all safety and WHS requirements

You are a collaborative, analytical, and delivery‑focused professional with an interest in warehouse operations and systems. You enjoy working across technical and operational teams, can adapt in fast‑paced environments, and take pride in delivering high‑quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate can demonstrate:

  • Tertiary qualifications in IT or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience or exposure to warehouse management operations and processes
  • Understanding of how IT solutions deliver business value
  • Experience supporting system implementations, upgrades, or operational support
  • Exposure to SAP WMS / EWM / WM or similar systems (desirable)
  • Strong documentation, analysis, and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to work with diverse stakeholders and influence outcomes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A proactive, organised, and customer‑focused mindset
