What does the job look like?

As a Billing Implementation Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting Linfox’s Commercial and Operations teams by translating transport and warehouse billing requirements into configuration‑ready solutions within the Linfox Billing platform.

Acting as the key link between Business Units and IT, you will work collaboratively with Business Units, Finance, IT, Project teams, and selected external partners to translate operational needs into system‑ready solutions, support testing and implementation activities, and help deliver accurate, compliant billing outcomes in line with governance requirements.

This is a full‑time, two‑year max term role, based onsite at Linfox HQ in Essendon Fields (VIC).

Other duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Partnering with Business Unit stakeholders to capture and analyse transport and warehouse billing requirements
  • Translating operational processes into clear, configuration-ready billing specifications
  • Validating billing structures, reference data, calculation logic, and supporting attributes
  • Identifying and resolving data quality issues, billing exceptions and rule or process misalignment
  • Logging, tracking, and escalating issues in collaboration with IT, Project teams, and external vendors
  • Supporting UAT and integration testing to validate billing scenarios and outputs
  • Assisting with Business Unit readiness, including change impacts, training support, and go‑live activities
  • Supporting billing governance, audit requirements, and data protection standards
  • Building strong working relationships across Operations, Commercial, Finance, IT, and Project teams
  • Contributing to continuous improvement across billing processes, data quality, and system behaviour

You are a detail‑driven and analytical professional who enjoys working at the intersection of operations, systems and process governance. You are comfortable engaging with stakeholders, asking the right questions, and ensuring complex billing requirements are accurately captured and delivered.

You thrive in fast‑paced environments, can manage competing priorities, and bring a practical, solutions‑focused mindset.

The ideal candidate can demonstrate:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Logistics, Transport, Business, or a related discipline (desirable)
  • Experience in transport operations, transport billing, contract administration, or a related analyst role
  • Exposure to requirements gathering, testing, data validation, or billing implementation activities
  • Understanding of transport billing principles, rate cards, pricing structures, and commercial constructs
  • Experience working with billing systems, TMS/WMS data, or enterprise platforms
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to engage and influence stakeholders across operational and corporate teams
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • A proactive, organised, and outcomes‑focused approach
