What does the job look like?

We are currently seeking an experienced, tech savvy Storeperson/Forklift Driver to join our automated, fast-paced operation in Virginia, QLD. This is a hands-on role combining high-tech automated palletising oversight with reach/counterbalance forklift work—perfect for someone who enjoys variety and takes pride in safety, quality and performance. This is a permanent role, Mon – Fri (6am – 2:30pm). Key areas:

• Operate automated palletising systems, complete setups, clear jams, and ensure pallets meet required stack patterns and quality standards
• Operate Reach Trucks or Counterbalance Forklifts to move finished goods, load/unload trailers, and manage inbound stock flow
• Complete picking, receipting, replenishment, inventory control and dispatch to meet daily service requirements
• Use Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF scanning to complete transactions, track inventory, and maintain accurate records
• Conduct visual inspections and quality checks, identify non-conformances, and maintain strong housekeeping standards
• Perform minor troubleshooting, manage consumables (stretch wrap, slip sheets), and prevent downtime while complying with Safety Standards and COR requirements

• Current LF licence with practical experience on Reach Truck and/or Counterbalance forklifts
• Recent experience in warehousing/distribution across dispatch, receipting, loading and general stores duties
• Proven capability using WMS and RF scanning to complete inventory movements and maintain stock accuracy
• Confidence working around automated equipment (including clearing minor stoppages/jams) and completing basic fault-finding
• Strong attention to pallet presentation, stack integrity and quality control through consistent visual checks
• Commitment to safe work practices, site procedures, COR requirements, and flexibility to support operational needs (including overtime where required)
