What does the job look like?

As the National Operations Manager, you will lead the delivery of warehousing and transport services nationally for a key BevChain customer, ensuring contractual, safety, service and financial outcomes are achieved. Based in either Heathwood, QLD or Truganina, VIC, this is a critical customer-facing leadership role, driving operational performance, safety excellence and continuous improvement across multiple sites. You will also lead, mentor and hold accountable a national leadership team to deliver consistent, high-performing outcomes. Key responsibilities include:

• Lead national safety performance in line with Linfox Safety Plans, policies and customer requirements.
• Deliver contractual service, operational and financial outcomes across warehousing and transport operations.
• Manage national customer relationships, acting as the key contact on service and performance matters.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across sites to improve efficiency, safety and service outcomes.
• Control financial performance of the contract, including P&L accountability and transparent reporting.
• Manage people, industrial relations and compliance outcomes across the contract nationally.

Are you the one?

You are an experienced logistics leader with a strong background in national warehousing and transport operations, known for driving safety, commercial performance and customer outcomes. You lead with accountability, build strong relationships and thrive in complex, multi-site environments. You can demonstrate:

• Senior leadership experience within warehousing and transport logistics environments.
• Direct accountability for profit and loss performance within a large operational contract.
• Proven ability to lead safety strategies and deliver an injury-free workplace culture.
• Experience managing customer contracts and senior stakeholder relationships nationally.
• A strong track record of driving continuous improvement across operational teams.
• Practical experience in people leadership, industrial relations and workforce compliance.
