What does the job look like
Join a high-performing fuels operation supporting tier one energy customers BP and Ampol across Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland. Based at Laverton North, this Scheduler role plays a critical part in ensuring safe, efficient and reliable fuel supply across a national network.
Working on a 5/4 rotating roster, you’ll be responsible for end‑to‑end scheduling of fuel deliveries, balancing customer demand, driver availability and asset utilisation. You’ll work closely with our driver network and operational leaders, responding to real-time changes and keeping operations running smoothly in a fast-paced, safety‑critical environment.

Key areas:
- Plan and schedule fuel deliveries to meet customer demand across VIC, NSW and QLD
- Work closely with drivers to coordinate shifts, loading plans and daily execution
- Collaborate with operational leaders to manage disruptions, redirections and non‑deliveries
- Gather and manage customer order information via customer portals and direct communication
- Create and manage Carrier Managed Orders and resources using scheduling systems (WinDMS)
- Load manage resources to optimise utilisation while complying with mass and fatigue regulations
- Provide clear shift handover reporting and communicate issues to support continuity of operations
- Maintain a strong safety focus aligned with NHVR, Dangerous Goods and Linfox requirements

You’ll bring:
- Experience in transport scheduling, logistics or operations (fuels or DG highly regarded)
- An understanding of NHVR, fatigue and Dangerous Goods regulations
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with drivers and leaders
- Confidence working with scheduling and transport management systems (WinDMS exposure desirable)
- Solid computer skills, including MS Office
- A proactive, detail‑focused approach with a commitment to safety and continuous improvement
