What does the job look like?

We are currently seeking an experienced Transport Scheduler to join our team, supporting Queensland‑wide transport planning across a fast‑paced logistics network.

Based out of Eagle Farm, this role is critical to ensuring efficient, safe and cost‑effective routing and scheduling for our customers across Queensland, with a strong emphasis on Brisbane metro knowledge.

Shift Pattern

• Sunday: 2:00am – 10:00am
• Monday to Thursday: 4:00am – 12:00pm

As a Transport Scheduler, you will be responsible for end‑to‑end scheduling and routing, ensuring freight movements are planned effectively and service commitments are met. You will work closely with execution teams, warehouse operations and customer service to manage daily plans and respond to live operational changes across the network.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule transport movements across all Queensland operations, ensuring optimal routing and utilisation
• Maintain strong oversight of Brisbane metro routes, congestion patterns, delivery windows and operational constraints
• Ensure all scheduling activities comply with safety, fatigue, and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements
• Monitor daily transport KPIs and take action to address service or efficiency issues
• Manage live operations, including adhoc requests, replanning, delays, lates and breakdowns
• Work closely with the execution and customer service teams to ensure proactive communication when service impacts occur
• Provide a steady and reliable flow of work into warehouse operations through effective planning
• Support continuous improvement in scheduling efficiency, service performance and cost control

• Proven experience in transport scheduling or coordination within a logistics or freight environment
• Strong working knowledge of Brisbane and Queensland transport routes
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a time‑critical, high‑volume setting
• Strong attention to detail with a logical, analytical approach to planning
• Confidence working across systems and transport management tools
• A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset with strong communication skills
