Distribution Centre Manager

As the Distribution Centre Manager, is responsible for the day‑to‑day operational management of the new Heathwood site, ensuring safe, compliant and efficient operations. This role is accountable for site safety, financial performance, people leadership and maintaining strong client relationships while driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead day‑to‑day site operations, ensuring compliance with company, client and regulatory standards.
  • Deliver site safety outcomes by identifying, controlling and mitigating hazards and risks.
  • Manage financial performance, including wages, site costs, billing accuracy and cost control.
  • Act as the primary client contact, managing operational performance and service delivery.
  • Lead and develop site employees, ensuring training, capability and industrial compliance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, service and commercial outcomes.

Are you the one?

You are an experienced logistics or warehousing leader with a strong safety focus, proven people leadership capability and the ability to manage operational, financial and client outcomes within a third‑party logistics environment. You can demonstrate:
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience delivering third‑party logistics services.
  • Experience leading and managing site‑based teams within a warehouse environment.
  • Strong safety leadership with experience managing hazards, incidents and WHS compliance.
  • Financial acumen, including cost control, wage management and client billing oversight.
  • Direct customer relationship management experience in an operational setting.
  • Ability to analyse operations and develop practical commercial and continuous improvement solutions.
