What does the job look like?
As a Procurement Officer within our Fleet & Procurement team, you will play a key role in delivering best value procurement outcomes across the Linfox Group. Working part time (0.8 FTE), this role partners closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to manage sourcing activities, contracts and category initiatives while balancing commercial outcomes and risk.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Lead sourcing and category management activities across assigned spend areas
- Develop and manage RFQs, RFIs and RFPs in collaboration with cross functional stakeholders
- Negotiate commercial terms and conditions that deliver value and protect the business
- Manage the end to end contract life cycle, including supplier engagement and performance review
- Build strong relationships with internal customers to understand needs and deliver timely outcomes
- Identify opportunities to improve procurement efficiency, value and service quality
Are you the one?
You are a commercially astute procurement professional who enjoys working across multiple stakeholders and projects. You bring a balance of strategic thinking and hands on delivery, with the confidence to influence outcomes at all levels of the business.
You can demonstrate:
- Tertiary qualifications and significant experience in procurement or category management
- Proven capability leading sourcing activities and complex tender processes
- Strong negotiation experience across commercial and contractual terms
- Experience managing contracts, supplier performance and commercial risk
- Ability to manage competing priorities and multiple projects simultaneously
- A collaborative approach to working with stakeholders and suppliers
