What does the job look like?

Linfox Intermodal is on the lookout for a Transport Manager based in Chullora NSW. This role supports the daily freight operations for Coles Collect within the Linfox Intermodal network, ensuring freight is planned and delivered safely, compliantly and in line with customer, contractual and cost requirements. The role plays a key part in operational communication, performance monitoring and maintaining strong customer relationships. Key areas:

• Coordinate the planning and dispatch of freight from Coles vendors and Linfox operational sites
• Communicate daily with customers regarding service performance, delays and issues
• Monitor service performance, profitability and costs against agreed KPIs and contracts
• Prepare KPI and operational performance reporting for management
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers, subcontractors and internal teams
• Promote and comply with Linfox safety requirements, policies and Code of Conduct

Are you the one?

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in warehousing, logistics or transport operations
• Strong customer relationship and service management experience
• Ability to work within cost, contract and KPI frameworks
• Proven analytical and process-driven approach to operations
• Experience preparing and interpreting operational and performance reports
• Commitment to safety and compliance in a high-risk operational environment.
