What does the job look like?

Linfox’s Intermodal business unit is currently seeking a highly motivated HC driver to join our transport operations team. This is a full-time ongoing position based in Mount Gambier, SA starting at 5am Monday to Friday. You will be required to safely deliver various timber products from Mount Gambier, to our regional / interstate customers. Key areas:

• Driving to the commitment of Linfox Safety Standards at all times
• Ensuring that Vision Zero is a daily focus
• Complying with the Linfox coupling & uncoupling procedures
• Daily prestart checks and ensure loads are restrained appropriately
• Strong understanding of Chain of Responsibility principles and extensive knowledge of road transport legislation
• Customer Service

Are you the one?

• Current HC Licence is essential (MC license highly desirable)   
• Ability to manage fatigue
• Familiarity with fundamental manual handling protocols
• Strong work ethic, customer service and communication skills
