What does the job look like?

Linfox's Intermodal business unit have a full-time permanent opportunity to join our team located in West Melbourne, VIC. This opportunity is the dedicated lead for one of Linfox’s largest customer contracts, acting as the primary link between our customer network and Linfox's internal operations. You will drive account growth, manage performance outcomes and build strong relationships while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The working hours for this role is Monday - Friday, commencing at 8:00am - 4:00pm. Key areas:
  • Manage key customer relationships to drive retention, growth and service excellence across multiple networks
  • Lead customer performance management including KPIs, reviews, reporting and commercial outcomes
  • Deliver financial and commercial analysis to support profitability, forecasting and account growth
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the existing customer scope
  • Lead and support the key account management team to ensure effective coverage and service delivery
  • Act as the primary escalation point for customer service and operational issues
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate with operational teams to enhance service delivery

Are you the one?

You are a commercially astute account leader with proven experience managing large, complex customer relationships, with the ability to influence, problem-solve and drive outcomes across both customer and operational teams.  You can demonstrate:
  • Experience managing large customer accounts within the transport/logistics or supply chain environment
  • Strong understanding of revenue models, P&L, cost-to-serve and commercial performance
  • Ability to lead customer performance reviews, including monthly and quarterly presentations
  • Proven experience managing customer expectations and resolving service-related escalations
  • Experience identifying and delivering continuous improvement initiatives from a customer perspective
  • Demonstrated capability working across multiple service streams or operational networks
