What does the job look like?

We are on the lookout for a motivated and service-driven Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our organisation. This is a part-time opportunity, working Monday to Friday, 12:30pm to 5:30pm.

You will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring every visitor and caller has a positive experience.

Key responsibilities:

  • Switchboard management: handle incoming calls with professionalism, redirect queries, and take clear, concise messages.
  • Guest experience: greet visitors warmly, assist with building inductions, and ensure a smooth arrival process.
  • Administrative support: provide high-quality assistance across the organisation, including mail distribution and ad hoc tasks.
  • Mailroom coordination: manage incoming/outgoing mail and courier deliveries, keeping the space tidy and efficient.
  • Meeting room and EV charger bookings: monitor schedules, resolve conflicts, and help with alternative arrangements.
  • Event and catering support: assist with business events and catering logistics as needed.

About You:

You are a confident communicator with a professional attitude and a passion for delivering outstanding service.

You can demonstrate:

  • Previous experience as a Corporate Receptionist in a medium-sized organisation.
  • A warm and engaging telephone manner and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service abilities and the confidence to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and a high standard of personal presentation.
