What does the job look like?
This role is responsible for leading a small, multi-customer warehouse operation, ensuring safe, efficient and cost-effective service delivery across both warehouse and supporting transport activities. You will take ownership of day-to-day operations, workforce coordination, and customer engagement while driving site performance and continuous improvement.

Key areas:

  • Lead end-to-end site operations across warehouse activities and supporting transport coordination
  • Manage production schedules and ensure order picking, dispatch and service delivery targets are met
  • Oversee workforce planning, including managing a casual workforce and addressing absenteeism challenges
  • Build and manage customer relationships, including attending weekly KPI review meetings
  • Monitor site performance and provide accurate reporting to support financial and operational outcomes
  • Drive safety, compliance and continuous improvement across site operations

Are you the one?
You are an experienced operations leader with a strong warehousing background, capable of managing a small, fast-paced site while balancing customer expectations, workforce challenges and operational performance.

You can demonstrate:

  • Experience in warehouse and/or transport operations environments
  • Proven ability to manage small teams, including casual and agency workforce
  • Strong understanding of operational planning, scheduling and container coordination
  • Ability to support financial reporting and understand cost drivers
  • Experience working with multiple customers and managing service expectations
  • High attention to detail with strong time management and problem-solving capability
