What does the job look like?

As a Payroll Officer within the Shared Services Group, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring our team members across Australia are paid accurately and on time — every time.

Reporting to the Payroll Team Lead, you’ll process monthly salaried payroll for Linfox Group’s wholly owned Australian entities, working collaboratively within a high-performing payroll team dedicated to accuracy and continuous improvement.

Other duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Process your allocated portion of the monthly salaried payroll
  • Set up new starters and process terminations, and manage leave form processing
  • Maintain payroll records, processing checklists and process documentation
  • Reconcile leave entitlements including long service, annual and sick leave
  • Calculate and process off-cycle payments as required
  • Prepare and distribute monthly payroll costing reports and assist with management reporting

Are you the one?

We’re looking for a detail-oriented payroll professional with strong technical knowledge, a commitment to accuracy and a genuine drive to support continuous improvement across payroll processes.

The ideal candidate can demonstrate:

  • 3–5 years’ experience in a payroll environment
  • Hands-on experience working with SAP Success Factors.
  • Good working knowledge of Awards, Agreements, PAYG and Superannuation legislation
  • An Accounting qualification or actively working towards one
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience supporting process improvement
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with a high attention to detail
